Cottage Life

On this site, we are dedicated to helping you bring your dreams of paradise-like living to fruition. To that end, we have split up our article sections into a few different subcategories. We do this because one person's idea of paradise (and thus paradise in the backyard) can be substantially different than another. We have also found that the same person might have different ideas about what paradise entails. Even with something as specific as cottage life, there are endless possibilities. Maybe you're planning to build on a vacant waterfront property or looking at real estate on the ocean.

In this section of our site, we will be taking a look at some of the many opportunities for paradise-style living without having to move to somewhere tropical. Cottage-style real estate is more exotic than run-of-the-mill suburb living and at the same time offers people looking to define their own version of paradise the chance to do so near to their own homes. So, if you're in a situation where you can handle a second mortgage, you should look into a cottage getaway. To find out if you would qualify for that mortgage we recommend you speak with a mortgage broker. If you are in need of advice, you can contact a mortgage broker for all things mortgage related.

This section will look at cottage real estate opportunities from all over. If waterfront living is your idea of the perfect lifestyle, with aquatic scenery and recreation available just out your back door, then you will probably be interested in the many different areas we cover here. The opportunities are virtually endless.

On the other hand, you might prefer the saltier air and water that is to be found when you have a permanent or cottage vacation home along the ocean's shore. There's island living to be had right here in Canada; Prince Edward Island real estate is among the most scenic and pristine to be found anywhere in the country. Not to mention, it's a great place to prepare some exotic and tasty barbecue dishes in your backyard, all with a view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Some people may prefer smaller bodies of water, ones that offer access to larger areas of recreation but which are somewhat isolated from the main traffic areas. We take a look at some of the cottage real estate near lakes and rivers where there are plenty of places to moor your boat and enjoy a vacation lifestyle along the way.

The mighty waves of the Atlantic may call to one type of person while the fresh water of Lake Huron appeals to another. It all depends on what your version of paradise means, but you can be assured that we have material here suited to everyone's idea of what heaven is. A special thanks to WTPI crane pads and traffic cone weights for their innovative products and website sponsorship.
