Our Focus: Education and Spirituality

Here at Xa:ytem, we share the history and culture of the people of the river, the Sto:lo. Not only do we share the knowledge of the cedar, we tell of stories written in blankets of mountain goat hair, of an ancient house older than the Eqyptian pyramids, of three Chiefs who were turned to stone, and of the people who have lived here for over five hundred generations.

Thousands of visitors have enjoyed this interactive experience and gained a lasting impression of both contemporary and ancient Sto:lo culture. We welcome schools, private parties, tourists and those looking for a unique cultural experience.
